Jennifer Hewlett is the founder of Fresh Air Life.
Jennifer Hewlett, founder of Fresh Air Life, the leader in outdoor health and wellness for women on the west coast - is passionate about WOMEN – WELLNESS – WILDERNESS. Jennifer believes in the power of walking for life – hiking for health and that every step counts! As an outdoor enthusiast and 3rd generation North Shore resident – Jennifer has a unique perspective and knowledge on the North Shore landscape and will take you to many secret trails and routes on your journey to wellness this year. Over the past 17 years, she has been on the secret trails of the North Shore inspiring, motivating and educating all women in her community to live a fresh air life. It’s good for the heart and soul. Jennifer has a background in physical education from UBC and has been a pioneer on the North Shore for women’s outdoor health and wellness – her multigenerational non-competitive “live and give” model stands alone and has drawn attention from both print and TV media over the past several years. Jennifer welcomes everyone into her women’s wellness circle at Fresh Air Life –with a firm belief that every step counts!
Fresh Air Life is involved in a variety of wellness programs which range from working with high school students, those experiencing mental health issues, residents of the Downtown Eastside, and a UBC mentorship program. Jennifer is an ambassador for LOLE (Laugh Out Loud Everyday) and is on the Board of Directors for Global Soul Sisters – www.globalsoulsisters.com. Jennifer has been nominated for the North Shore Women of Excellence Award for the past three years, and was the 2010 Sun Run Ambassador for Nordic Walking on the North Shore. Jennifer was awarded the 2011 Urban Poling Trail Blazer Award for her contribution to health and wellness in her community - she is the first British Columbia to win this National award.
Jennifer lives in Deep Cove with her husband and 2 children and is dedicated to empower all women to live a fresh air life…
