Hello Ladies - welcome to a Snowshoe Thursday for everyone! - Jenn will be offering a morning snowshoe for the beginner walk/snowshoe ladies - please meet at Jenn's at 9:30am - bring your ss or rent from Jenn for $10.00.  We will be on the paid trails - so you will need your $$.  The evening snowshoe ladies will meet Jenn's place at 6:30pm and shuttle up top.  In the event of stormy weather and poor driving conditions we will walk not ss - pray for a snowshoe blue day - see you in god's country Thursday -  bring a great attitude and happy feet! - - Jenn/Courtney

Hello ladies!  UP UP AND AWAY FOR A GREAT FRESH AIR DAY!

Looking forward to a snowshoe blue day in fresh powder conditions as the wonderful Wednesday team heads to 1st peak together.

This hike will be a longer journey- please set aside 3 hours for the round trip as the snow will be deep and heavy.  Jenn suggests that you bring water and a snack or lunch. There will be many kodak moments this week - be sure to bring a big smile and good hair!!!

Jenn will meet you alll at her place - 1522 Norton Court at 9:00am and we can shuttle up from here.  In the unlikely event of rain the group will hike in this area.  Snowshoes are recommended for this event.

Please note there are no dogs on the trails tomorrow!!

Hello Ladies - Happy Tuesday...

Ladies,

Please note that we are walking on Tuesday morning NOT snowshoeing as is seen on the weekly schedule - that was a typo!

The group is asked to meet in the Upper Lonsdale area - the corner of Lonsdale - Osborne - in the angle parking at 9:15am.

We will be walking for 1.5 hours - the weather looks to be wet - please dress for the weather.  There will be a variety of ups and downs on this lovely urban walk.

Looking forward to a lovely morningn in the Upper Lonsdale area.  In the event of rain mixed with snow - as we are in upper levels of the north shore - Jenn may change the location.  Please check this blog by 8:00am Tuesday morning.

There is snow in the air ladies - therefore we wil be snowshoeing not hiking this monday!

Hello Ladies,

Please meet jenn at her place at 9:00am monday morning as we will be heading up the mountain to snowshoe as there is fresh powder on the hills. 

Do bring your micro spikes  - but due to heavy snowfall this weekend we will most likely be in fresh snow and snowshoe conditions.  When the weather pattern is good for snowshoeing we will be taking advantage of the local hills and snow conditions - our monday hikes will be set aside for rainy days as we all love a snowshoe blue day - there are good for the heart and soul.

If you are going to meet us up top - please let Jenn know - we will be parking in the upper lot - please note that they are checking cars for snowshoers even mid week - so when you park - jump out of your cars and head over to the avalanche sign to get your gear on - we do not want to park in the lower lot as it makes for a longer hike.

Hello Ladies - please note we are at Seymour this week not Hollyburn!

The beginner snowshoefit ladies are asked to meet at Jenn's place at 9:30am Friday morning NOT Hollyburn as orginally planned.  It has been snowing all day on our local mountains and will continue overnight - therefore we will be in deep powder - a great workout for you and your MSR snowshoes. 

Please note that this Friday the focus of the one hour snowshoe session will be to experience a snowshoe in powder snow - we will be on level terrain and will not venture too far into the forest as the conditons will be deep snow - we will have fun exploring the Seymour Mountain adventure park together.  Be sure to wear your gators. 

The group will meet at Jenn's at 9:30am and shuttle up to the top - the roads will be in winter condition and I ask that all the ladies who are comfortable driving in snow help with the shuttle.

Please check this blog in the morning in the event there is any changes. 

The snowshoe demos will be $10.00 for those intersested.

Hello Ladies - Let it snow!

Please note that the Thursday business gals will meet Jenn at her place at 6:30pm this evening.  There is new snow on the local mountains - it will be great to get in the fresh snow and make our fresh air angels together.

There will be winter driving conditons on the road up to Seymour so those of you who feel comfortable driving I encourage to car pool.

If you need ss demos please let me know.  Jenn will be selling off ALL the MSR snowshoes this weekend for those who are interested.  They will range in price from $17.00 to $225.00 - cash or cheque payable to Jennifer Hewlett.  You can put your name on a pair this evening to reserve your personal pair - this way you will have your own equiptmemt for the balance of the winter term.
